About the Role
We are looking for an IP Associate to join our trademark team in Ahmedabad. You will handle both trademark prosecution and opposition matters, from filing through to hearings.
Key Responsibilities
- Trademark filing and prosecution
- Drafting replies to examination reports and attending show-cause hearings
- Handling trademark opposition matters
- Drafting notices of opposition, counter-statements and evidence
- Drafting legal notices, replies and affidavits
- Legal research and case strategy
- Client advisory and trademark portfolio support
- Coordination with the Trade Marks Registry and procedural compliance
Requirements
- LLB degree; enrolled with the Bar Council
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trademark prosecution and/or opposition
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Registry procedures
- Attention to detail and ownership of work
- Collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in IP
