Trader / Analyst

Responsibilities :

• Execute trades for the portfolios, liaise with counterparties/brokers, and ensure best execution in strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirement
• Conduct fundamental credit research, industry analysis and financial modeling to support the investment team
• Monitor existing investment portfolios and generate daily/monthly portfolio performance and risk analysis reports
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums, research reports, and fund roadshow/marketing materials
• Assist Portfolio Managers with trade idea generation and support the execution process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Track macroeconomic indicators, industry trends, and credit events; formulate actionable investment recommendations and actively contribute to team discussions
• Collaborate closely with headquarter and internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform all such other duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Economics, Finance or other related disciplines (CFA or FRM is highly preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in asset management, specifically in fixed-income investment or research roles
• Holder of the SFC Type 1, 4 & 9 licenses
• Strong research, analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent command in both written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin
• Highly proficient in Bloomberg and MS Office applications
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, VBA, R, or SQL) for data analysis and quantitative modeling is a strong plus
• Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
