Trading Application Support

Role Overview

Responsible for L2/L3 production support of critical Trading Technology platforms, including Greek Soft IOB/OMS, Greek Algo, Symphony XTS, Retail Algo APIs, Bloomberg EMSX/EMSB, and FIX connectivity. The role involves real-time troubleshooting, application monitoring, incident management, vendor coordination, and ensuring the smooth functioning of trading applications during live market hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Greek Soft IOB (Institution) and other critical trading applications.
• Support Greek Execution Algos, Symphony XTS, and Retail APIs.
• Support Bloomberg EMSX/EMSB and FIX connectivity, including FIX sessions, order flow, acknowledgements, execution reports, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot order, trade, API, FIX, application, and connectivity-related issues during live market hours.
• Understand and troubleshoot the end-to-end institutional trading flow:
  API/EMS Algo OMS/RMS FIX/Exchange Gateway Exchange
• Analyse application and FIX logs and coordinate with OEMs/vendors for issue resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support NSE/BSE/MCX connectivity, mock trading, exchange certification, UAT, and production activities.
• Hands-on knowledge of different STP (Straight Through Processing) processes for institutional orders.
• Coordinate application releases, patches, configuration changes, and production deployments.
• Support DR/BCP, mock trading, and business continuity activities for trading applications.
• Monitor application health and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
• Maintain proper incident documentation, RCA, and follow-up with internal teams and vendors.

Infrastructure & Technical Knowledge

Good working knowledge of:

• Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Trading Applications / OMS / EMS / RMS.
• Networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Database concepts and basic SQL.
