Trading System Engineer - HCM

Role: Build and scale XNOQuant’s trading infrastructure for systematic and high-frequency trading, including execution systems, backtesting tools, and automated research pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-latency trading systems: market data handlers, order execution, risk checks, monitoring.

• Build backtesting & simulation frameworks with realistic fees, slippage, and latency.

• Support HFT strategies with optimized data processing and execution.

• Productionize strategies with clean deployment and monitoring.

• Optimize system performance and maintain reliable production code.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming and solid software engineering (Linux, Git, testing).

• Experience with trading systems, systematic strategies, or quant research infrastructure.

• Understanding of backtesting pitfalls (look-ahead bias, survivorship bias, overfitting).

• Ability to collaborate with traders and quant researchers to build production systems.
