About the role

Acupuncture Healthcare Centre is seeking a qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that offers you the opportunity to deliver authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services to our diverse patient base. In this role, you will be at the heart of our healthcare operations, providing evidence-based TCM treatments whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us expand our reputation as a leading natural therapy healthcare provider in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive patient consultations to assess health conditions using TCM diagnostic principles including pulse diagnosis, tongue analysis, and patient history-taking
• Administering acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and other traditional TCM therapies according to individualised treatment plans
• Preparing and dispensing herbal remedies and providing guidance on their proper use and potential interactions
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practice standards
• Developing customised treatment protocols based on TCM theory and individual patient needs
• Educating patients about preventative health measures, lifestyle modifications and dietary recommendations aligned with TCM principles
• Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners to ensure integrated and holistic patient care
• Staying current with developments in TCM practice and undertaking continuing professional development
• Ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming clinical environment for all patients

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in Traditional Chinese Medicine or Acupuncture from an accredited institution
• Registered TCM Practitioner of the Malaysia Ministry of Health
• Minimum 1 years of TCM experience in a healthcare or therapy setting
• Strong knowledge of TCM theory, diagnostic methods and treatment modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and related therapies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex health concepts in clear, accessible language
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional ethics
• Ability to manage patient expectations and build long-term therapeutic relationships
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently within a busy clinic environment
• A genuine passion for natural medicine and holistic healthcare
• Preferred experience with electronic patient record systems and clinic management software
