Traffic Control Technician

On Track Safety is looking for Traffic Control Technicians. Freeway experience is a benefit.

Traffic Control (Book 7) Experience and Class G Driver's License is a minimum requirement. CVOR Experience is a plus. D and A Drivers are welcomed to apply.

Must demonstrate the proper knowledge to carry some or all of the following:

• Lane Closures (left & right) - Municipal and Freeway
• Working near Traffic Lights
• Diversions
• Detours
• Ramp Closures
• Mergers, Exit Lanes and Transfers
• Crash Truck

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.87 - $34.87 per hour

Responsibilities and Skills:

· Install Traffic control equipment and set-up road closures.

· Work on a client driven schedule which requires flexibility to work day and NIGHT shifts, Weekdays and WEEKENDS

· Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.

· Able to perform physically demanding tasks outside in all types of weather and terrain.

· Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.

· Health & Safety Conscious, ensuring safety and emergency procedures are followed.

· Must have a cell phone and your own vehicle to get to/from Shop

· Provide and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

· Steel-toe safety boots.
