Traffic Controllers

Kevlar Group are looking for Traffic Controllers for an immediate start.

Due to an increase in ongoing works and growth opportunities, we are currently seeking experienced, motivated, and hardworking Traffic Controllers to join our growing and busy team!

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Complete Vehicle Pre-Start Checks
• Load and unload vehicles with signage & equipment
• Complete site hazard assessments and check for suitability of control measures for the job site.
• Implement traffic management plans to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Monitor traffic behaviour and control traffic flow, as well as flow of pedestrians and cyclists, to ensure the safety of clients, work crews and members of the public at all times.
• Promptly report any on-site hazards and/or near misses.
• Use a two-way radio to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members.

·         Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

• Work well in a team.
• Physically fit and capable of working 12-hour days if required.
• Available all hours Monday-Sunday and Public holidays.
• Previous experience in Traffic Management, in the Construction Industry will be highly regarded.

Skills & Experience.

• Current BWTM & TC Accreditation
• Current "C" Class “Manual” Licence
• Construction Safety Card
• Ability to pass Medical & Drug Screen
• Good Communications Skills
• Commitment to Maintaining Safe Work Practices
• A Fantastic Work Ethic
