Traffic Coordinator

Blockhouse is looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join our team. This individual will work directly with our VP of Operations. Traffic is responsible for shipping our product directly to customers in a safe, cost effective, and timely manner. In this position, you will be serving both office and factory personnel. This is a full-time, hourly position Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 with a half hour for lunch from 12:00-12:30. The starting wage is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Some of the duties include:

• Obtaining quotes FTL, LTL, small package (Fedex, UPS, USPS, etc)
• Prepare shipping documentation such as BOL's, shipping labels, etc.
• Work with trucking companies on setting up trucks and supplying delivery information
• Work with our Shipping/Receiving department and Install department with small tasks
• Communication with our customers to set up deliveries
• Data entry (Using Word docs, Spreadsheets, Google, etc.)

The ideal candidate would be able to work in a team environment, and possess a good phone personality, be a very good communicator, and be a flexible and innovative employee who looks for ways to work efficiently. We are also looking for someone who has a good eye for continuous improvement, has an aptitude for details, works well under pressure, and has a good memory!

Logistics experience is required.
