What they need
Job Title: Traffic Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Transportation Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare Traffic Impact Studies (TIS/TIA) and traffic reports.
- Conduct traffic analysis and modelling using SIDRA, SYNCHRO, VISSIM, VISUM, or AutoTURN.
- Coordinate with UAE authorities such as ITC/DMT and RTA for project approvals.
- Analyse traffic survey data and recommend traffic improvements.
- Evaluate roads, junctions, parking, and access arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE traffic standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of traffic engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of UAE experience.
- Experience in TIS/TIA and UAE authority approvals.
- Knowledge of traffic modelling software.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
Preference: Candidates with UAE traffic consultancy experience and direct authority coordination experience.
