Traffic Planner/Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Control Plans using RapidPlan.
• Produce supporting documentation, including traffic staging plans, risk assessments, and traffic management reports.
• Review designs for compliance with relevant Australian traffic management standards and client specifications.
• Respond to client feedback and implement plan revisions where required.
• Work closely with planners, project teams, and traffic controllers to ensure practical and effective traffic solutions.
• Manage multiple design requests while meeting agreed turnaround times and quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the design process.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 12 months' experience preparing Traffic Management Plans or Traffic Guidance Schemes.
• Experience using RapidPlan or similar traffic management design software.
• Sound understanding of Australian or New Zealand traffic management practices and legislation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and compliant plans.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Able to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment.
