We’re growing our trailer shop and looking for experienced trailer and chassis techs who take pride in doing the job right the first time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform PM and roadability inspections on trailers and intermodal chassis
• Diagnose and repair air brake systems: chambers, slack adjusters, valves, air lines and glad hands
• Repair and replace brakes, drums, hubs, seals and wheel bearings
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting and electrical systems, including ABS
• Service wheels, and repair landing gear, suspensions and kingpins
• Repair chassis locking pins and twist locks, mud flaps, bumpers and DOT conspicuity tape
• Perform light welding and fabrication on frames, crossmembers and doors
• Document repairs accurately and keep your bay and tools in safe working order

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of trailer, chassis or intermodal equipment repair experience
• Solid working knowledge of air brake systems and DOT inspection standards
• Your own hand tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliability, Teamwork, Coachability: you show up and you finish what you start

Nice to Have

• Brake Inspector (FMCSA 396.25) or annual inspector qualification
• Intermodal chassis M&R experience (yard or depot)
• MIG welding experience
• Reefer unit or liftgate experience
• CDL (to move equipment in the yard)
