What they need
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across specified routes, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying any mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, cargo, and distances traveled, adhering to federal and state regulations regarding hours of service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in commercial driving preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-haul trucking or trailer driving, showcasing reliability and professionalism.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; endorsements for hazardous materials or doubles/triples are advantageous.
