Trailer Lorry Driver

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:

1. Ensuring goods are safely secured

2. Assist in loading goods onto the lorry and placing them in proper locations.

3. Keeping vehicle in good condition Perform preventative and regular

maintenance on lorries and ensure that vehicle fluid is sufficient.

4. Responsible for delivery of company’s finished goods to site by taking

the quickest route to destination.

5. Monitor road, traffic, and weather conditions and take alternate routes

where required.

6. Make sure that all paperwork accompanying goods is complete eg

delivery orders are properly chop sign by authorised personnel at site.

7. To call and inform Delivery dept of any discrepancy during unloading at

site and to wait further instruction from the office.

8. To ensure correct goods are loaded up according to instructions.

9. To support any other activities as directed by superior as and when necessary
