About the Role

GH Logistics is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Trailer Asset Manager to oversee the daily management of our trailer fleet in San Antonio. This leadership role is ideal for someone who excels at asset management, vendor oversight, operational efficiency, and leading teams in a fast-paced transportation environment.

This is not a mechanic position. We’re looking for a leader who can manage the operation, not perform the repairs. You’ll be responsible for ensuring trailers remain operational, vendors stay accountable, and fleet data remains accurate to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s trailer fleet and asset management system.
• Oversee the complete trailer repair lifecycle from identification through return to service.
• Coordinate with third-party maintenance vendors and hold them accountable for repair quality and turnaround times.
• Monitor trailer utilization, condition, movement, and inventory.
• Lead and support yard personnel while driving accountability and performance.
• Maintain accurate reporting and fleet records.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet, trailer, transportation, or asset management.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience using fleet management software such as Fleetio, Geotab, AssetWorks, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing vendors and outside service providers.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing trailer fleets in a transportation or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and trailer inspections.
• Experience improving operational processes and asset utilization.
