Stirling Trailer Centre Ltd is part of the haulage firm H & R Gray Haulage Ltd who are a long-established family business. We are predominantly an Ifor Williams Trailer dealership specialising in trailer sales and hire, genuine parts sales, and workshop repairs and maintenance. We are also one of the Scottish service centres for the all new 4x4 INEOS Grenadier.

Due to the expansion of our purpose-built workshop, we are looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

As a Trailer Mechanic, your work will be varied but primarily responsible for servicing and maintenance for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Workshop foreman to complete daily jobs and duties in a timely manner.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of trailers.
• Tow bar fitting.
• Liaising with the Parts department to attain correct parts.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience repairing and maintaining trailers.
• Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Valid Driving Licence.

Hours of Work;
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Every second Saturday 8am to 12pm
