Trailer Spotter Driver

We are looking to fill the position of an Off Highway Trailer Spotter on our second and third shift team. The position will require the candidate to switch trailers and operate a forklift. The trailers will be required to be moved to and from the receiving docks and the trailer storage location. This is an offroad position, and the candidate will not be on major highways. During times that trailer switching is not needed, the candidate will be required to operate a forklift pushing materials at the receiving docks within the facility.

Position Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Current up to date DOT Physical - Required to maintain
• Clean Driving Report
• Commercial Driving Experience - Five years minimum
• Forklift Experience - Two years minimum
• Maintain time management
• Overtime availability
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Report any equipment issues to the appropriate individual
• Candidate will be required to operate the simi-truck and trailer in a legal, safe, secure, and professional manner
• Candidate must open and secure trailer doors

Working Conditions and Physical Hazards

• Exposure to temperature changes, noise and mechanical hazards
• Outside work is required
• The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks/hazards. The candidate must follow safety policies and precautions to avoid these hazards
• PPE will be required - Safety Glasses, Gloves, and Safety toe shoes at minimum
• The candidate will be sitting for periods of time
• The candidate must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and climb occasionally
• Ability to use hands to fingers to handle and feel controls, objects, and various tools
• The candidate must be able to reach using hands and arms
• The candidate must have the ability to lift 80 plus pounds at any given time
• The candidate must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Schedule

Second shift works Monday evening through Friday evening

• 2:30 pm through 11:00 pm/12:00 am - Schedule Subject to change at any given time
• Occasionally works Saturday evenings
• Overtime can be scheduled at any given time including last minute notifications

Third shift works Sunday night through Friday morning

• 10:00 pm Through 6:30/7:30 am - Schedule Subject to change at any given time
• Occasionally Work Friday nights thru Saturday mornings
• Overtime can be scheduled at any given time including last minute notifications

Pay Wage

Second Shift pay starts at $ 18.50 per hour

Third Shift pay starts at $ 19.00 per hour
