Heavy-Duty Fleet Service Technician

As our customer base continues to grow, we're looking for skilled and motivated Fleet Service Technicians to join our team. What You'll Do

• Perform DOT-compliant federal annual inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair ABS, brake, and wheel-end systems
• Perform tire changes, repairs, and related service
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and air systems
• Perform trailer body repairs and rebuilds based on experience and skill level
• Repair trailer doors, door panels, operators, and landing gear
• Install decals and complete other trailer repair and maintenance tasks
• Safely operate shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, forklifts, torches, and welding equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Accurately record labor, production time, and completed work
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical experience required
• Experience with heavy-duty equipment, trailers, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicles preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with brakes, ABS, wheel ends, electrical systems, and air systems preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to safely use a torch and welding equipment
• Ability to use a variety of power and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $xx.xx- xx.xx per hour, based on experience and skill level

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Monday–Friday day shift
• Night and weekend work as needed
• Weekly pay
