About The Role We are looking for a Trainee Advisor who is ready to begin a career in financial advisory services while studying towards the recognised qualification required to provide investment and insurance advice. You will learn alongside experienced advisors and build your knowledge of Moneybase’s products, systems and compliance procedures. No previous industry experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow Junior and Senior Advisors during client meetings and portfolio reviews.
• Assist with client onboarding documentation and administrative tasks under supervision.
• Learn to use our CRM, portfolio management and compliance systems accurately.
• Study towards and obtain the recognised qualification required to provide investment and insurance advice.
• Complete the internal training programme and develop your understanding of our products and compliance procedures.
• Support day-to-day branch operations under the direction of the Senior Advisor or Branch Manager.

Experience And Qualifications

• A relevant degree in finance, business or economics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Enrolled in, or about to enrol in, the recognised advisory qualification required to provide investment and insurance advice.
• Fluent in both Maltese and English.
• No prior industry experience is required.

Supervision and development

You will work under full supervision and remain at Trainee Advisor level for the duration of your studies. You will have no advisory or sign-off authority and will not manage independent client relationships.

Passing the recognised advisory qualification is essential for progression to Junior Advisor. Progression also includes completion of the internal training programme, a positive performance review and your supervisor’s recommendation.
