What the role is

We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable Soil Technicians (trainee or experienced) to join our Port Macquarie team. You will work closely with our Laboratory Manager and senior staff and will be trained to perform soil, aggregate and concrete testing in accordance with relevant national and state standards.

This is a hands-on role involving field and laboratory testing, data analysis and report preparation. It’s a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and wants to contribute to delivering quality outcomes across a range of projects.

What you’ll bring

The successful candidates will possess:

• A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player;
• Excellent communication skills, motivation and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard;
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence;
• Hold a White Card and Nuclear Gauge- highly regarded, however, can be organised once employed.

Any previous experience in concrete and soils laboratories or the construction industry, while not necessary would be beneficial. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
