TRAINEE BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Freshers can apply.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a hospital environment.

Job description:

• Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment under supervision.
• Assist in evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• Assist in training clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
• Designing, developing and testing and modifying products, equipment and devices under supervision.
• Assist in maintaining the equipment’s which are installed in such a way that repairs are also met in time.
• Reports and accurate documentation must be done on each aspect of work under Supervision.
• Carrying out regular maintenance and calibrations as per schedule and documenting the same.
• Attending service calls and documentation of services under supervision. In case the job is not completed on the same day, reason for the delay (like spares required, company support required etc.) has to be communicated to the concerned department.
• During the installation of new equipment’s materials are checked at the bio-medical department with the purchase order to confirm the ordered specifications and quantity are received as stated.
• Carrying out regular maintenance and calibrations as per schedule and documenting the same under supervision.
