Trainee Bookkeeper

A busy and established three office firm of Chartered Accountant’s are looking to recruit a trainee Book-keeper in our Bishop's Stortford on an Apprenticeship bases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic school leaver or graduate who is interested to build their skills and gain valuable workplace experience.

As a Trainee Bookkeeper, you work closely with our experienced accounting team and gain practical experience in various aspects of bookkeeping and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software.
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Support the bookkeeping team in managing invoices and receipts.
• Utilize QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for data entry and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance bookkeeping skills and knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From £20,000.00 per year
