Trainee Branch Manager

SINO Plant is looking for a driven, hands-on Branch Manager to train at our Gauteng branch. This is an on-site role for someone who can manage daily operations, lead a team, drive sales, and maintain high customer-service standards.

The ideal candidate is a confident salesperson with a solid mechanical understanding and experience in the construction, agricultural, mining, earth-moving, or related equipment industries.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the branch.
• Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Assist with customer enquiries and close sales when required.
• Manage mechanics in the PDI and repairs workshop.
• Oversee stock control, stock takes, showroom presentation, customer service, and general branch upkeep.
• Ensure the branch, workshop, and team operate efficiently and professionally.
• Work closely with management to improve branch sales and performance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Workshop Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong sales ability and experience working directly with customers.
• Mechanical knowledge and an understanding of machinery, equipment, or workshop operations.
• Experience in construction, agricultural, mining, earth-moving equipment, or a related industry will be an advantage.
• Ability to lead a team, manage performance, and take responsibility for branch results.
• Valid driver’s licence required minimum code 8.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Language: English
• Matric certificate required
• Entry level mechanical work and staff management requied
• Willing to relocate.
