Trainee Breakfast chef

We are looking for a motivated and passionate trainee brunch chef to join our team at Manuka Kitchen, one of Fulham's most loved independent restaurants on Fulham Road SW6.

This is a genuine training and progression opportunity. You will be developed into a fully trained brunch chef under the guidance of our head chef, learning our menu from the ground up in a real working environment. If you are serious about a career in the kitchen and want to grow in a place that genuinely invests in its people, this is the role for you.

What the role involves:

Working on the brunch pass and learning our full menu from scratch. Preparation, mise en place and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Developing your skills and confidence under direct guidance from our head chef. Progressing toward cooking independently as your abilities grow.

What we are looking for:

A minimum of one year experience working in a commercial kitchen. A genuine passion for brunch and breakfast cooking. Weekend availability is essential — Saturday and Sunday are non negotiable, plus one additional day during the week. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment.

What we offer:

Full hands on training with a clear progression path. The chance to work in one of Fulham's most established and well loved independent restaurants. A warm and supportive kitchen environment. Competitive hourly rate.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week

Work Location: In person
