Every day, millions of tonnes of oil, petroleum, chemicals and fuel cross the oceans, and someone has to find the ship, negotiate the deal and close it. At Okto Marine, that someone could be you.

We are a Tanker shipbroking firm based in Houston, Istanbul, Amsterdam and Dubai working with owners and charterers across global markets. We are looking for ambitious final-year students who want a fast-paced, international career that rewards drive and relationships from the first day.

What You’ll Do

• Learn the chartering process from fixture to final voyage under experienced senior brokers
• Track market positions, vessel availability and freight rates
• Prepare market reports, voyage estimates and circulars
• Build relationships with shipowners, charterers and operators by phone, email and chat
• Join live negotiations as you build experience

Who We’re Looking For

• Final-year student or recent graduate from a leading university (any field; business, economics and engineering are welcome)
• Fluent English is essential. Turkish is a plus, and a third language is a bonus
• Comfortable with numbers and quick decisions under pressure
• Confident, competitive and good with people
• Willing to work in a market that does not keep office hours
