Trainee CAD Technician

Overview
We are seeking a Trainee CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves programming CNC sheet metal machinery using Radan CAD-CAM software, creating flat pattern fold drawings, and working with 2D and 3D CAD models. The successful candidate will support multiple facilities, ensuring seamless fabrication and modification processes while liaising closely with production teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in engineering and manufacturing. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings using Radan software.
• Create 3D models and visualisations using tools like Radan.
• Create flat pattern fold drawings for press brake operators.
• Communicate with production teams to provide updates and support fabrication departments.
• Create press brake programs using our offline software.
• Create production packs using our ERP system.
