Job Purpose:

The individual will bea part of Accounting and Business Support team learning and assisting clientsin managing their accounting including preparation of MIS and other reports andvarious applicable compliances including but not limited to Payroll includinglabour laws, tax withholding, Goods and Services tax, Corporate tax, Reservebank of India and certifications for foreign remittances.

Training Includes:

The incumbent shall beallocated 2-3 full retainer clients along with 1-2 clients with selected jobsand will be responsible for ensuring the agreed compliances for those clients.He/she shall work closely with senior/assistant manager on these jobs who shallclosely review his/her work. The responsibilities shall include but shall notbe limited to:

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:
   

Recording of Transactions for different kindsof Companies

Checking of transaction for applicability ofTDS

Maintaining stock , if applicable

Finalisation of end-to-end accounting includingclosures entries like prepaid, depreciation, provisions etc.

Preparationof Fixed assets register for the purpose of calculation of depreciation.

Preparationof monthly MIS reports.

Preparationof financial statements as required by Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013,along with related schedules.

Assistanceduring statutory audit/tax audit including preparation of schedules as may berequired by statutory auditors.

2.  Payroll Compliances:
   

Preparationand processing of monthly payroll based on the data received from the clients.

Finalisationof salary structures of the employees for the financial year, estimating theannual tax liability of each employee.

Preparationand filing of various labour law related returns (PF, LWF, PT etc)

3.  Income Tax Compliances:
   

Preparation of monthly TDSliabilities of clients and their payment of challans.

Preparation and filing ofquarterly TDS Returns.

Computationof quarterly tax liability to be deposited as advance tax.

Computationof annual corporate tax liability for filing of corporate tax returns.

Preparationand filing of Form 15CA/CB for foreign remittances.

Preparationof schedules of Tax audit (Form 3CD).

Filingof various applicable Forms like 49C, SFT etc

Assistancein proceedings initiated by tax withholding authorities.

4.  GST Compliances:
   

Preparation and filing ofmonthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1/GSTR-3B)

Preparation and filing ofannual return (GSTR-9) and annual reconciliation statement (GSTR-9C).

Assistance in obtainingregistrations and amendments if any.

5.  RBI & Other Compliances :
   

Preparationand filing of Statement of Foreign Liabilities and Assets with RBI

Preparation,certification and filing of Form ECB-2 for External Commercial Borrowings.

Preparationand filing of Statement of DGP report

ROCForms filing and drafting minutes

Desired Skills:

-Average communication skills to provide a comfort to clients

-Basic Excel

-Moderately conversant with English language read, write and spoken
