At CAMM Concrete, we take pride in delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Concrete Batcher to join our team and learn the skills required to manage the day-to-day operations of a concrete batching plant.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced team, you will learn how to coordinate concrete production, manage customer orders and ensure concrete is batched to the required specifications and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Learning to operate and monitor the concrete batching plant.

·       Assisting with the scheduling and coordination of concrete orders and deliveries.

·       Liaising with customers, drivers, sales staff and the production team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.

·       Learning to interpret concrete mix designs, job specifications and production requirements.

·       Monitoring raw material stocks and assisting with inventory management.

·       Completing production records, delivery documentation and relevant administration.

·       Assisting with quality control procedures and concrete testing requirements.

·       Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.

·       Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided as you develop the skills and confidence to take on greater responsibility.

About You

You don't need previous batching experience to apply. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in building a long-term career with our business.

Ideally, you will have:

·       A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.

·       Good communication and customer service skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.

·       Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

·       Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems.

·       A reliable, practical and safety-focused approach to work.

·       The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in concrete, construction, quarrying, transport, manufacturing or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

A current driver's licence is preferred.
