We provide conveyor belt installation, maintenance and repair services to some of the country's largest companies across quarrying, manufacturing, ports, food processing, timber, recycling and heavy industry.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for another technician to join our Auckland team.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll learn every aspect of the trade while working on customer sites throughout Auckland and the Upper North Island.

Your work will include:

• Installing and replacing conveyor belts
• Assisting with conveyor maintenance and repairs
• Learning hot and cold belt splicing techniques
• Using hand and power tools
• Working on planned shutdowns and emergency breakdowns
• Travelling to customer sites throughout the region
• Learning specialist skills that are highly valued across New Zealand

Who We're Looking For

We're not expecting conveyor belt experience.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic
• Is reliable and turns up ready to work
• Enjoys physical, hands-on work
• Is mechanically minded and enjoys problem solving
• Takes pride in doing a quality job
• Works safely and follows instructions
• Has a Full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Works well as part of a team

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Construction
• Civil works
• Warehousing and logistics
• Manufacturing
• Mechanical workshops
• Heavy industry
• Engineering
• Farming and agriculture
• Scaffolding
• Roofing
• Labouring
• Tyre fitting
• Maintenance

If you've worked with tools, machinery or in physically demanding environments, you'll fit right in.
