Trainee Dental Nurse

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Chair-Side Support (Under Supervision)

• Chair-side assistance: Provide hands-on support to the dentist or hygienist during dental procedures by passing instruments and mixing dental materials (such as alginate and fillings).
• Aspiration: Safely remove water, saliva, and debris from the patient's mouth during treatments using suction equipment.
• Patient care: Monitor, reassure, and escort patients to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed throughout their visit.
• Dental charting: Assist the clinician by accurately recording dental notes and oral charting on the practice database.
