Job Description – Trainee Draftsman (MEP)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Draftsman to join our MEP design team. The candidate will assist in preparing accurate MEP drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers and draftsmen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in preparing HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting layouts.
• Develop plans, sections, details, schematics and coordination drawings.
• Update drawings based on engineer/client comments.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural and structural layouts.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, symbols and documentation.
• Support senior draftsmen and engineers in day-to-day drafting activities.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and completed within project timelines.

Required Skills: -

• Basic knowledge of MEP systems and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering discipline.

Preferred

Knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage.

Location: Thane
Salary: As per experience and company standards.

Pay: ₹10,203.01 - ₹37,635.79 per month
