4. Detailed Job Description Trainee Engineer The client is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join their team in Chennai (Tiruvallur). This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0 to 2 years of experience. The role focuses on supporting machine shop operations, maintenance and repair activities, and learning the fundamentals of maintenance engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assist in the operation and upkeep of machine shop equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Support maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and routine inspections. Collaborate with senior maintenance engineers to learn and apply maintenance engineering principles and best practices. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance metrics. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and production efficiency.
