Trainee Engineer

Key Responsibilities:-

• Load & Stress Calculations: Assist in calculating dead, live, wind, and seismic loads for foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
• Drafting & Modeling: Prepare 2D and 3D structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) using software like AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or Revit.
• Design Compliance: Check designs against national and international codes (IS codes, Eurocodes, etc.) and safety regulations.
• Site & Technical Coordination: Support senior engineers with site queries, technical submittals, and clash-detection reviews with architectural and MEP teams. [1, 2, 3]

Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying

• Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Measure and extract material quantities (concrete, steel formwork, rebar) from structural drawings and BIM models.
• Cost Analysis: Determine labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs to build project tender estimates and budgets.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Quotes: Assist in comparing supplier rates, analyzing quotations, and preparing comparative statements for bids.
• Progress & Cost Tracking: Help track material consumption variances and update cost sheets as per site execution progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

• Education:
• Master of Technology (MTech) in Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Working knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit Structure).
• Basic familiarity with estimation/quantity surveying practices, Excel-based BOQ preparation, and construction methods.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Attention to detail for accurate measurements and cost projections.
• Communication and cross-functional team collaboration.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
