Talent Catch is recruiting on behalf of a growing Kent-based property business looking for an ambitious Trainee Estate Agent to join their team.

This opportunity will involve working across Maidstone, Medway and Canterbury , giving you exposure to different local property markets, clients and branches as you build your experience.

You don’t need previous estate agency experience. What matters most is confidence, ambition and a genuine willingness to learn.

With structured training, ongoing coaching and clear progression routes, you’ll have the opportunity to develop towards becoming a successful Sales or Lettings Negotiator, with the potential to increase your earnings as your experience and performance grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

From the start, you’ll gain practical exposure to the day-to-day world of estate agency while developing your communication, sales and customer service skills.

You’ll support property viewings, speak with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, manage enquiries and help keep clients updated throughout the sales or lettings process.

You’ll also learn how to negotiate offers, build long-term client relationships and support property listings and marketing activity.

Because the opportunity covers multiple locations, you’ll also gain experience working across different areas of the Kent property market and supporting teams in Maidstone, Medway and Canterbury .

As your confidence grows, you’ll be encouraged to take greater ownership of client conversations, negotiations and your own results.

Training & Development

You won’t be expected to know everything on day one.

You’ll receive hands-on training in property sales and lettings, client communication, viewings, negotiation, follow-up, local market knowledge and professional customer service.

You’ll learn directly from experienced property professionals, with regular coaching and feedback designed to help you become more confident, commercially aware and capable of taking on greater responsibility.

Working across different locations will also give you the opportunity to understand how property markets and customer needs can vary across Kent.

Who We’re Looking For

Previous estate agency experience isn’t required.

You could be a strong fit if you’re confident, outgoing and comfortable speaking with new people. You’ll need to be organised, professional and motivated by both personal development and results.

Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or another people-focused environment can be beneficial, but attitude and potential are just as important.

As the opportunity involves regular travel between Maidstone, Medway and Canterbury , you’ll need to be comfortable travelling between locations as required.

A full UK driving licence is preferred.
