Trainee Estimator Apprentice

Precision Sealant Services Ltd is looking for a motivated Trainee Estimator Apprentice to join our specialist sealant subcontracting team. Working on construction projects across London and the South East, you’ll gain valuable practical experience, learn directly from our Managing Estimator and work towards a recognised Level 3 Construction Support Technician apprenticeship.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop in-demand estimating skills, gain insight into a specialist area of construction and build a long-term career with an experienced and supportive team.

What you’ll learn and do:

• Review drawings, schedules and specifications to identify sealant works
• Learn and measure works using estimating software
• Help prepare quotations and maintain accurate tender records
• Contact suppliers and customers to clarify information
• Assist with general office administration and project paperwork
• Help in our stores with deliveries, material requests and stock records

What we’re looking for:

• An organised, reliable person who is keen to learn
• Confidence working with numbers
• Good attention to detail
• Clear communication skills
• Confidence using a computer
• Previous construction experience is welcome but not essential
• Driving licence preferred

In return, you’ll receive practical training, guidance from our Managing Estimator and the opportunity to work towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a growing specialist construction business.
