What they need
Trainee Events Manager | Manchester | Full-time | Monday – Friday | Immediate start
We deliver corporate showcases, brand activations, and live promotional events across Greater Manchester. With open interviews taking place this week, we are bringing on a Trainee Events Manager to join us within two weeks, focusing on live event coordination, venue engagement, and floor-based brand sales.
What the Role Involves
You will work right in the heart of event execution, learning how live event spaces drive audience engagement, brand presence, and commercial revenue:
- Coordinating live floor setups, promotional event stands, and delegate welcome desks on event days.
- Interacting face-to-face with event attendees, presenting featured products, and capturing visitor sales leads.
- Assisting event managers with venue site visits, floor planning, and running pre-event logistics checklists.
- Liaising with event sponsors, venue management, and vendors on site to keep delivery running seamlessly.
- Collecting delegate feedback and post-event visitor data for post-campaign reporting.
What We Look For
Experience is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided. We welcome backgrounds in event support, hospitality, retail, customer service, or university society coordination.
- Confident, outgoing approach on the event floor with a natural ability to speak to new people.
- Practical organizational skills and a calm mindset when live schedules adjust.
- Strong reliability and full availability to start within 2 weeks of interview.
What We Offer You
- Base Pay: £26,000 per annum
- Performance Bonuses: Uncapped campaign bonuses tied to event attendance, sales, and lead targets
- Complete Training: Hands-on 1-on-1 coaching covering floor coordination, vendor management, and event sales techniques
- Workplace Perks: Time off in lieu (TOIL) for flexible event shifts, regular team social nights, paid travel expenses, and rapid progression toward Lead Event Manager roles
