DAYS;

06.00-18.00 - 4 on 4 off rotation £12.71 as a general warehouse operative rising to £13.13 once training is complete.

18.00-06.00 - 4 on 4 off rotation £14.46 as a general warehouse operative rising to £14.88 once training is complete.

Duties

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently under supervision, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from pallets and racking
• Support warehouse management system data entry related to stock movements and inventory control
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and storage to prevent damage
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and labelling
• Participate in stock organisation, inventory checks etc
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote health & safety for all colleagues
• Support the team with general warehouse duties as required

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
• Basic knowledge of warehouse picking systems or inventory control is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
• Basic mathematical skills for stock counting and data entry tasks

This role offers valuable hands-on experience in warehouse operations, with opportunities for skill development in forklift driving. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, safety consciousness, and a willingness to learn.

Applicants will attend an initial assessment with successful colleagues being invited to train with the clients highly experienced instructors. Please note all applicants will be expected to take a drug & alcohol test, to promote safe working practice, and be expected to work at heights between 10-15m at times.
