Trainee Planner

This is a structured Graduate Programme designed to develop and grow your capability over time, building the technical, commercial, and practical skills. You will learn through exposure, guided development, and increasing responsibility, following a clear developmental pathway within the business.

This role develops future Planning and commercial professionals, building strong analytical and trading ability to optimise product business performance, to support the ultimate goals of the organization over the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business analysis
• Sales forecasting
• Stock management and inventory management
• Margin and markdown management
• Developing and monitoring the financial plans that support product ranges
• Strategic input on product
• Optimising merchandise performance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Com, B.Sc or other numerical or analytical qualification

Competencies:

• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
• Interest in commercial decision-making and retail analytics
• Ability to work with systems and data (training provided)
