Trainee QC – Job Description

Experience: Fresher / 0–1 Year

Job Summary

We are looking for a Trainee QC with a good understanding of Manual Testing concepts and basic knowledge of Playwright with Python. The candidate should be able to understand requirements, prepare and execute test cases, create basic test scripts, identify and report defects, and communicate effectively with the team.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Good knowledge of Test Scenarios and Test Case preparation.
• Ability to write and execute positive, negative, functional, and regression test cases.
• Basic knowledge of Smoke, Sanity, Retesting, UI, and Responsive Testing.
• Basic knowledge of Ad Hoc Testing and Boundary Value Analysis.
• Basic knowledge of Bug Reporting and Defect Tracking.
• Basic knowledge of Playwright with Python.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute test cases and report defects.
• Perform functional, regression, and ad hoc testing.
• Apply basic test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis.
• Create and execute basic test scripts using Playwright with Python.
• Retest fixed defects and update the status.
• Support the QC team in day-to-day testing activities.
• Maintain testing documents and reports.
