We’re looking for confident, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Sales Assistants. You’ll receive ongoing training, practical experience and support from experienced team members while developing valuable skills in sales, customer engagement, communication and negotiation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys speaking with people, learning new skills and working towards goals in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Speaking with customers in a friendly, confident and professional manner
• Understanding customer needs and helping them find the most suitable products or services
• Learning effective sales, communication and negotiation techniques
• Supporting the wider sales team with daily activities and customer engagement
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
• Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or services where appropriate
• Keeping customer and sales information accurate using company systems
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive a positive experience
• Taking part in regular coaching and development to continuously improve your skills

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of sales experience — attitude and willingness to learn are more important to us.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with different people
• A positive and motivated approach to work
• Good organisation and time-management skills
• The ability to work as part of a team while also using your own initiative
• An interest in developing sales, customer service and negotiation skills
• A willingness to learn more about both customer-facing and B2B sales
• Previous customer service or sales experience is an advantage, but not essential
