Trainee Site Supervisor - NOR

The company you'll be joining:

A builder that has gone from strength to strength over recent years and built a strong reputation for delivering quality homes within some of Perth’s fastest-growing communities. With a proven track record of developing and promoting talent from within, they’re now looking to add a Trainee Site Supervisor to the team. Working alongside a highly respected Construction Manager, you’ll receive hands-on mentoring, coaching and support to develop the skills required to build a successful career in site supervision.

This isn’t a business or role where you’ll be handed the keys to a ute, an iPad and a phone and told to figure it out yourself. Instead, you’ll be joining a structured environment with clear processes, guidance and training designed to set you up for long-term success.

The role you'll be doing:

• Supervising 30 new build homes from Two Rocks to Yanchep, from site works through to key handover
• Scheduling and coordinating trades and materials
• Conducting daily/weekly site inspections, as well as ensuring key milestones such as slab down, plate height, roof cover, lock up and handover are achieved
• Ensuring work meets quality and compliance standards
• Managing site safety
• Communicating progress updates and resolving issues promptly
• On site meetings with clients in preparation for tiling and pci/handover

What you'll need to succeed:

• Trade qualified (ideally within a structural trade) or an early career Site Supervisor looking to further develop their skills
• A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in residential construction
• Ability to use an iPad and other technology
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Be coachable, take feedback on board and implement the learnings.
