Job Title: Trainee Stone Worktop Fitter

Oxford Stone Craftsmanship are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and responsible trainee to join our expanding team. We fabricate and install granite, marble and quartz kitchen work surfaces across Oxfordshire and beyond.

As a trainee you will learn how to install stone surfaces (as well as essential stone surface fabrication skills). As each installation is different, the role is varied and interesting with scope for progression for the right candidate.

No previous experience is required as all training will be provided. The successful applicant will be taught fabrication and installation skills.

Ideally the right candidate will have:

• Excellent time keeping and communication skills
• Friendly and approachable manner
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time

Working hours are Monday to Friday (8.00 am until 5.00 pm) but the role does require flexibility as over time will be required from time to time to ensure that installations are completed. Flexibility in this regard is essential.
