About the Role

As a Trainee OTR Tyre Repairer, you will receive on-the-job training and mentorship while supporting workshop and field service operations. You will develop specialist skills in Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre repair and maintenance while working within a safety-focused and supportive team environment.

Please note: This is a local role and is not FIFO. Applicants must be based locally or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with OTR tyre repair and maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards
• Support workshop and field service activities
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas to a high standard
• Assist with stock handling, inventory control, and warehouse organisation
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
• Deliver professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in safety initiatives, hazard reporting, and toolbox meetings
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised, and productive workplace
• Undertake training and development to build technical expertise

About You

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to develop a long-term career
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks

Highly Regarded

• Previous tyre fitting, repair, mechanical, or trade-related experience
• Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence
• Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• Certificate II in Automotive (Tyre Fitting & Repair – Light or Heavy)
