Trainee/Apprentice Restaurant worker

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our establishment, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service. Your role will encompass various responsibilities, from serving food and beverages to maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations.

Duties

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Support the team in maintaining stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness are met.
