Trainer & Capability Coach

Help people learn and succeed

Pioneer is looking for a Trainer & Capability Coach to join our Learning & Development team.

This is a hands-on role working with our Call Centre Operations teams to deliver onboarding, refresher training and coaching that builds capability and improves performance.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you'll work closely with Team Leaders, Operations Managers and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, support operational change and help our people succeed.

Team Leaders, Quality Analysts, Trainers and Capability Coaches are encouraged to apply.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver onboarding, refresher and capability development programs across our Operations teams.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
• Support employees to build confidence, capability and job readiness.
• Deliver Corporate induction and refresher training as required.
• Conduct knowledge checks and learning assessments.
• Review customer interactions and work outputs to identify coaching opportunities.
• Provide practical coaching and feedback that supports capability development and performance improvement.
• Support learning relating to business processes, compliance requirements, systems, technology and operational change.
• Maintain training records, learning registers and associated documentation.
• Monitor learner participation and effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and subject matter experts to support capability uplift across Operations.

About you

You're someone who enjoys helping others succeed. You can build credibility, communicate confidently and create learning experiences that are practical, engaging and relevant.

You'll bring:

• Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring or capability development.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• The ability to explain information in a simple and practical way.
• Experience identifying knowledge gaps and supporting performance improvement.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels.
• A practical and adaptable approach to learning and development.
• Experience in a contact centre, recoveries, customer service, quality assurance or regulated environment will be advantageous.
