Position: Medical Coding Trainer (E&M and Surgery)

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant Medical Coding experience

Certification: Mandatory certification (CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent)

Key Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Evaluation & Management (E&M) Coding
• Extensive knowledge of Surgery Coding
• Experience in training and mentoring coders
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
• Ability to conduct training sessions, audits, and quality reviews
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in developing training materials and conducting refresher programs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coding training for E&M and Surgery specialties
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback
• Conduct coding audits and identify training needs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and coding guidelines
• Support quality improvement initiatives and client requirements

Preferred Qualification:

• CPC/CCS/CIC certified
• Prior experience as a Medical Coding Trainer
• Exposure to healthcare BPO/KPO environment
