Trainer Support

Key Responsibilities

1. Training and Development

• Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new hires and existing personnel on the Pelican app, operational procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and learning resources.
• Adapt training approaches to accommodate different learning styles and competency levels.
• Assist in developing training modules, curricula, and other learning materials.

2. Knowledge Assessment and Evaluation

• Assess employees' knowledge of the Pelican app through quizzes, practical exercises, and on-the-job observations.
• Evaluate the knowledge process regarding account requirements and operational procedures.
• Monitor training effectiveness through employee feedback, assessment results, and performance data.
• Identify knowledge gaps and recommend appropriate training interventions.

3. On-the-Job Coaching and Support

• Conduct regular field visits and roving activities across assigned areas to provide real-time coaching and operational support.
• Address employee knowledge gaps and performance concerns through targeted coaching and refresher training.
• Serve as a resource person for operational staff seeking clarification on procedures, account requirements, and app usage.
• Support the onboarding and integration of newly hired team members.

4. Reporting and Coordination

• Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessment results, feedback, and training completion.
• Submit regular reports and updates to the Project Supervisor or Training Manager regarding training progress, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to identify training needs and implement appropriate solutions.
• Communicate effectively with employees and management to promote continuous learning and operational excellence.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on changes to the Pelican app, account requirements, and operational procedures.
• Participate in training workshops, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Recommend improvements to training methods, materials, and overall employee performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a Trainer, Training Officer, Facilitator, or Educator.
• Experience in the food delivery, logistics, e-commerce, warehouse, or operations industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and employee coaching techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to assess employee competency, provide constructive feedback, and develop improvement plans.
• Familiarity with the Pelican app, Foodpanda operations, or similar operational platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to conduct field visits and provide on-site training and operational support.
