Trainer / Tradeshow Manager

The Trainer / Tradeshow Manager is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure customers, employees and dealer sales representatives gain full understanding and knowledge of the AMD portfolio. Special emphasis toward laser therapy with practicing hygienist. This individual should have a hygienist license and be willing to become certified to train hygiene schools and Dental Service Organizations in person. This role will also head up the planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating company participation in tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities Training & Team Development

• Gain clinical, technical, and practice value expertise on all AMD products
• Conduct in person or remote training for hygienists to help them become certified or proficient in laser treatments
• Lead training events at hygiene schools and help educate the faculty on laser specific treatments
• Work closely with the AMD sales and DSO teams for specific customer training needs
• Conduct remote training for customers new to laser treatments
• Provide product training for hew hires to ensure high confidence and quick results.
• Conduct virtual training for dealer representatives as requested.
• Help develop training materials, presentations, guides, checklists, and performance tools.
• Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on team and event results.

Tradeshow & Event Management

• Develop and manage the annual tradeshow and event calendar.
• Coordinate event logistics, including booth selection, contracts, registration, shipping, setup, staffing, travel, and dismantling.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations and leadership to establish event objectives and strategies.
• Help oversee booth design, signage, promotional materials, demonstrations, giveaways, and other event assets.
• Provide input on pre-show marketing and outreach campaigns to drive attendance and appointments.
• Coordinate lead capture, qualification, follow-up, and reporting after each event.
• Maintain relationships with event organizers and industry partners.
• Identify new events and opportunities that align with company growth objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a hygienist with current license
• Willing to become certified to train practicing hygienists
• Enjoys working directly with customers to help them build confidence in laser therapy
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and project-management skills.
• Experience training, coaching, or developing customer and employees.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, AI tools, and event-management platforms.
• Willingness to travel regularly for required training events and tradeshows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience hygienist with hands-on knowledge working with laser therapy.
• Experience developing formal training programs or sales enablement materials
• Some experience managing trade shows.
• Familiarity with lead-generation and CRM processes.
