Training & Compliance Manager – Part-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training & Compliance Manager to support our restaurant teams in maintaining strong operational, training, food safety, and compliance standards.

This role will work closely with restaurant managers and operational leadership to identify training opportunities, conduct restaurant visits, monitor compliance, support team development, and ensure required standards are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unannounced restaurant visits to review operational and compliance standards.
• Monitor food safety, health & safety, cleanliness, product quality, and operational procedures.
• Review restaurant training and certification requirements and identify gaps.
• Support onboarding and training of new Team Members, Shift Managers, and restaurant leadership.
• Conduct refresher training and coordinate recertification when required.
• Maintain accurate training, certification, and compliance records.
• Complete restaurant visit reports and clearly communicate observations, positive practices, and opportunities.
• Develop and follow up on corrective action plans when compliance gaps are identified.
• Partner with RGMs and Area Leaders to ensure identified opportunities are addressed within agreed timelines.
• Support preparation for internal and external audits/assessments.
• Track recurring compliance issues and identify opportunities for additional coaching or training.
• Support the rollout of new operational procedures, products, training programs, and company initiatives.
• Ensure company policies and brand standards are understood and consistently followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant operations, training, food safety, compliance, or multi-unit QSR operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operational and food safety standards.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable providing constructive feedback to restaurant leadership and team members.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and follow up on action items.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and comfortable learning digital training and reporting systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between restaurant locations as required.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working directly in restaurants, recognizing strong performance while identifying opportunities and helping teams achieve and maintain the required standards.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
