What they need
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
- Design, plan, organize, or direct on job training and training programs for employees and maintaining the record in which adhere to ISO requirements.
- Offer specific training programs according to company’s policies and regulations or refreshing training.
- Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
- Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.
- Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
- Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
- Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual, to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
- Negotiate contracts with clients for desired training outcomes, fees, or expenses.See more occupations related to this task.
- Monitor training costs and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.
- Select, propose and engage with external training provider to achieve optimum return of investment.
- Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, or instructors.
- Coordinate on-the-job training (OJT) with respective department heads to ensure the training is implemented.
- Maintaining documentation filing system and soft copy to ensure accuracy.
- Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
- To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
