Training and Development Specialist

About the role

As a Training and Development Specialist at Legado Motors Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by empowering our Sales Consultants to reach their full potential. In this role, you will design, deliver, and continuously refine training programs focused on boosting sales performance, refining professional etiquette, and fostering personal growth. We are looking for a dynamic trainer who can inspire confidence, develop core sales skills, and elevate the overall professionalism and success of our sales team.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct Sales skills & Techniques Training, including customer approach, needs analysis, presentation, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
• Conduct Product Knowledge Training covering vehicle specifications, features, technology benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Conduct face-to-face and virtual/online training sessions, webinars, workshops and learning sessions for sales teams and dealers.
• Conduct product walk-around, vehicle demonstration, test drive, role-play, and sales simulation training.
• Coach and assess Sales Consultants to improve sales effectiveness and competency.
• Develop sales training materials, product guides, sales scripts, assessments and certification programs.
• Conduct onboarding, refresher and recommend coaching or retraining based on identified competency gaps.
• Support dealer sales teams in improving sales performance through field coaching and virtual coaching sessions.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in automotive sales, sales training, dealership operations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge in dealer policies, operational standards, sales process, and compliance requirements, with ability to monitor and guide dealer sales teams in adhering to established standards.
• Strong knowledge of automotive sales techniques and product presentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficient in conducting virtual training and online presentations.
• Willing to travel for dealer and field training.
• Must be willing to report onsite from Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
• Can start ASAP.
